Valahia University of Targoviste welcomes visiting scholars and lecturers who wish to teach or do research in our campuses, Institute of Multidisciplinary Research for Science and Technology, and research centers. Professors and scholars may come to Targoviste as part of our university’s shared foreign programs, if invited by the Rector’s office, the Doctoral School, the Institute of Multidisciplinary Research for Science and Technology, the faculties, departments, professors, and researchers of Valahia University of Targoviste. They are also cordially encouraged to propose an independent partnership to our university.
Valahia University of Targoviste has a monthly program of guest lecturers who lecture on various topics relating to our scientists’ and students’ research interests.
Besides, the university welcomes application of foreign scientists in our university through international programs such as Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions.
Foreign academics and scientists are provided upon requests with office space, computer access, internet access, housing, university integration, and other benefits.

Non-degree international students may be accepted in the context of cooperation agreements with other institutions, on a mutually agreed-upon basis and within the agreed-upon time limit. According to their status and legal criteria, they may be entitled to attend classes, take exams, and receive a proof of studies. Even if they are not formally enrolled, non-degree international students coming under cooperative agreements may be provided an affidavit necessary for residency in Romania by the corresponding faculty. Students who do not come under the umbrella of a cooperative agreement are termed self-sponsored, will need a letter of Acceptance from the Ministry of Education and will pay a tuition fee.
